i) Admission
to XI Standard is open to pupils irrespective of religion, region or caste,
subject to availability of seats. As regards, pupils qualifying from other
schools, only girls will be admitted. Admission is restricted to students who
have passed Secondary Examination in March 2011. However, there will be no
admission to XII Standard.
ii) Application form for admission to XI
Standard will be issued after the announcement of X Standard results by the
CBSE. The cost of application form and prospectus is Rs. 150/-.
iii) The application duly filled in, along
with an attested copy of the X Standard mark list must be submitted at the School
office on or before 31-5-2011. Admission will be granted only if both the
father and mother of the pupil sign the application form and are present at the
time of admission. If one of the parents is abroad or unable to come, a letter
to the effect that he/she has no objection to admitting his/her ward to the
School should be produced.
iv) Selected candidates will be called to
complete the admission procedure. They will have to produce the following
documents in original at the time of admission.
A Mark
sheet of X Standard B. Transfer Certificate
C. Conduct Certificate D. Passport size Photographs (3 Copies)
PAYMENT OF FEES
(The fee structure for the year 2011-12 is given in
Appendix-1)
i) Three
installments of fees to be paid as per Appendix-1. In case the due date for
payment is a holiday, the next working day will be considered as the due date
for payment.
ii) For every
payment of fees an official receipt should be obtained at the time of payment.
iii) A fine of Rs.
5/- will be levied per day for late payment after the due date. Failure to pay
the fees within 20 days from the due date (with fine) will result in removal of
the pupil's name from the rolls. Re-admission of defaulters may be considered
on payment of the full arrears with fine along with re-admission fee of Rs.250/-.Students will be issued hall tickets
for exams only if all dues are cleared.
iv) Pupils who leave the school in the middle of a term have
to pay the fee for the whole term.
v) Any amount remaining unpaid will be recovered from the
caution deposit. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
vi) Refund of the caution deposit should be claimed within a
month from the date the pupil leaves the School failing which the deposit will
be forfeited.
vii) Mode of Payment: By Cash or DD in favour of Dayapuram
Residential School. Cheques will not be accepted.
TEXT BOOKS
All the text books
prescribed are those published by the NCERT/CBSE and can be obtained from
the school store.
PUPIL'S DIARY
Every pupil will be supplied with a Pupil's Diary. This must
be brought to the School every day.There are pages allotted in the Diary for communications between the
Teacher/Principal and the parents. It also contains information regarding home
work assigned, library books read, extra-curricular activities, excursion,
schedules of Tests/Examinations of the School, leave and late attendance,
lesson planned for each month etc. Parents of non-resident pupils are requested
to peruse the diary daily. Parents of the hostellers may go through the diaries
whenever they get the opportunity.
LAB FACILITIES
There are full fledged labs in the School for Physics,
Chemistry, Work Experience, Biology and Computer. A Mathematics Lab is also
setup for the benefit of the pupils. Digital class rooms (Smart Class) are also
introduced to improve skills of the pupils.
UNIFORM
Wearing of uniform is compulsory for the students on all
working days. The stitching pattern will be displayed at the School Store.
INTERNET CENTRE
Limited Internet facility is available on campus. The pupils
can avail of the facility with the permission of the Principal, against payment
of the prescribed charges.
HOSTEL
i) Presently,
limited hostel facility is available, only for girls, within the campus.
Parents should seek admission to the hostel
for their wards at the beginning of the academic year itself. The application
form can be had from the School Office.
ii) The rules
and regulations pertaining to the hostels are given in the “Hostel Manual”.
Parents are requested to obtain a copy thereof and keep it with them for their
information and guidance.
iii) Hostel
admission will be for one academic year and extension will be considered only
if the student and parent abide by the rules fully.
DAY BOARDING
For
security reasons, students are strictly banned going out of the campus during
working hours. Lunch is provided to the day scholars on a monthly/daily basis.
Interested parents may approach the Administrative Office and make the payment
in advance.
DISCIPLINE
i) The School
attaches great importance to discipline and good behavior of the pupils.
Indiscipline in any form will be dealt with severely.
ii) Students &
Parents are requested to follow the rules and regulations of the institution strictly.
